This is a prevalent issue in girls' schools in Ghana, and I've experienced it firsthand. When teachers and students wrongly label you as a lesbian for being close to someone, it's incredibly hurtful. I know the pain it causes because I've been through it. These false accusations can even push someone to consider suicide. I want to encourage students falsely tagged as lesbians to stay strong and focused on their education.
