Franklin Delano Floyd is pictured here with his stepdaughter, Suzanne Marie Sevakis, whom he abducted in the early 1970s.

Floyd raised her as his own daughter under various aliases, fathered a child with her in 1988, and married her in 1989 using the alias Tonya Hughes.

By 1990, Suzanne planned to leave Floyd and take their son, Michael, with her.

However, in April of that year, she was discovered on the side of a highway, severely beaten and injured, and later died in the hospital.

Following her death, Michael was placed in foster care and eventually adopted, but Floyd kidnapped him in 1994. Floyd was captured two months later in Louisville, Kentucky, but Michael was not found with him and has been missing ever since.
