Think of OpenAI and Google from this interesting perspective: Google is a big company that has lots of products so it's easier for them to find use cases to apply AI so as to make their current users more efficient. OpenAI on the other hand is a comparatively smaller company but has a great tool that captures multiple use cases. They now have to search for products that require their use cases. In the end, I think everyone will win, so if OpenAI is intentionally trying to openly fight Google then maybe it's not really worth it now...
