This is a prevalent issue in girls' schools in Ghana, and I've experienced it firsthand. When teachers and students wrongly label you as a lesbian for being close to someone, it's incredibly hurtful. I know the pain it causes because I've been through it. These false accusations can even push someone to consider suicide. I want to encourage students falsely tagged as lesbians to stay strong and focused on their education. Let's spread awareness, and hopefully, the Education Minister will take notice to prevent such tragedies. Stay strong and spread lovee🫶.
